PWT takes part at the 2016 GT-SUITE European Conference in Frankfurt (Germany)
The PWT team will be in Frankfurt for the yearly GT-SUITE European Conference on Monday, October 17th. In addition, a work by POWERTECH and Wärtsilä will be presented during the Acoustics session, titled: “Receiver Pulses and Temperature Distribution Impact on Performance of a Large Bore Gas Engine”. The collaboration between POWERTECH and Wärtsilä has been in place for several years and led to the publication of several technical papers. This year’s presentation deals with the optimization, via 1D simulation, of a Lambda/4 resonator, designed to reduce the pressure pulsations inside the intake plenum of a 4-stroke large bore marine duel-fuel engine.
