SCR virtual optimization presented at the CONVERGE Conference
Thanks to their unmatched fuel-efficiency and low CO2 emissions, Diesel engines will play a significant role in the automotive industry for many years to come. Moreover, the latest technological developments in terms of exhaust aftertreatment, attained thanks to a widespread use of virtual optimization, have further reduced their pollutant emissions. Andrea Bianco of PWT presented on this topic at the last CONVERGE Online User Conference – Europe 2020, discussing a work titled “Numerical assessment of latest generation SCR systems performance”. This research was carried out in collaboration with e3 – Engines Energy Environment | Research Group of Politecnico di Torino, Università degli Studi di Perugia, Cornaglia Group and STS Engineering.
