This paper compares the performance of different Auto-Adaptive Energy Management Strategies utilising advanced CAE simulation tools and techniques in GTSUITE. In particular, it demonstrates how strategies of increasing complexity can lead to improved charge sustainability in a P2 HEV C-SUV hybrid vehicle over a broad range of operating conditions and goes on to show how they compare in terms of CO2.
